Welcome to the South Eastern Railroad, SER, which is a N-scale model railroad built one module, 3 feet, at the time according to the Fremo standard which is not quite true because I have one module that's 4 feet long called Wheetland Plaines.
For me modules is the only option since I live in a small apartment with no room at all for a permanent layout but the wife has given permission for me to store my modules in a shelf so there's hope.
I started with N-scale just a few years ago and the reason is, besides lack of space, the massive American diesel locomotives. They are awesome ![]()
My favorite American Railway-company is AT&SF, probably because my first memory of an american train seen on television was a AT&SF train. Perhaps could the colours have a big impact too.
I come from Sweden and our nations flag is blue with a yellow cross, the same colours that AT&SF had. It's so sad that AT&SF is among the companies that doesn't exist anymore but the company still lives in my heart.
The site is all in swedish at the time but I think you will be able to find your way by clicking on the menu to the left and there´s a lot of pictures so I hope you will be able to understand the heart of South Easter Railroad!

Here's a birds view of a SD-40 that puts a module to the test.

Here's another view of the SD-40.

My first try to build something from scratch and I'm quite satisfied with my work so far. To me it looks right and gives me good vibrations ![]()
